Holly France

 

 

Holly started her full-time dance training at 16 years old specialising in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern and Street. Then continued her training throughout a three-year degree at University in Contemporary, Contact Improvisation, Choreography and Physical Theatre.

 

During this time Holly started the monthly club night ‘Shake’n’Bake’ – Incorporating Charleston, Rock’n’Roll and GoGo dance together with her pastry chef skills, serving delicious cakes whilst dancing to live bands with her in-house dance troupe.

 

In 2008, whilst performing Charleston with Gypsy Jazz band ‘The Mandibles’ in a field in Cheddar, Holly first met The Bee’s Knees and has been working with them ever since.

 

Holly toured the UK with Precarious Physical Theatre’s production of ‘Druthers’, including a four-week run at Edinburg Festival, winning the ‘Total Theatre’ Peoples Choice award.

 

Holly works as a choreographer and production manager creating concepts for companies such as Vidal Sassoon at leading venues including The Royal Albert Hall and The Roundhouse.

 

Last year Holly started her secret supper club ‘Amuse Bouche’, serving fine food and even finer cabaret and entertainment.

In addition to this Holly has professional experience in American tap, The Apache dance and character acting, as well as being able to peel a banana with her feet!
